            Volleyball Preview: Glenn Falcons vs. Mishawaka Cavemen        
        
		
        
        
            Glenn hasn't had much luck against Mishawaka recently, but that could start to change  on Thursday. The Falcons will head out to  challenge the Cavemen  at 7:00  p.m. Glenn will be strutting in after a  win while Mishawaka will be coming in after a  loss.
Glenn hadn't beaten South Central on the road since August 31, 2020 but that history sure didn't bother them  on Wednesday. The Falcons won by a  set and slipped past the Satellites  3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  victory the Falcons have posted  against the Satellites since August 31, 2020.
 Glenn wouldn't go down easily and took South Central into a fifth set  where they got it done with a four-point win. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-23, 21-25, 25-27,  15-11.

Glenn can attribute much of their success to  Anne Rhodes, who  had 14  digs and one  assist. That's the most  digs  Rhodes has posted  over her last six  matchups.
 Glenn  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 18  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least five  aces in ten consecutive  games.
 Meanwhile, Mishawaka suffered their biggest  defeat since September 3, 2024 on Tuesday. They came up short against  Elkhart, falling  3-0.
 Mishawaka's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Glenn, their record now sits at 10-1.
 Glenn might still be hurting after the  3-0 defeat they got from Mishawaka  when the teams last played  back in August of 2024. Can the Falcons avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
