Softball Recap: South Oak Cliff Comes Up Short

South Oak Cliff was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the White Longhorns, falling 15-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bears of the 11-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

South Oak Cliff's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for White, they moved to 4-4 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Oak Cliff will take on Adamson at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for White, they will be taking part in a tournament against Braswell at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. White is facing Braswell at the right time seeing as Braswell is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
