Notre Dame Academy came tearing into Thursday's match with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Falmouth Clippers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cougars also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Notre Dame Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-20, 25-20, 25-18.

Aislinn Friday paced Notre Dame Academy's offense, picking up seven kills. Friday got some help from Brianha Kennedy and her 15 assists. Kennedy was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Notre Dame Academy's victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Falmouth, their defeat ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Notre Dame Academy will take on Scituate at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Falmouth, they will be playing at home against Cardinal Spellman at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
