On Saturday, Pearsall was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 39-35 to King.

Despite the loss, Pearsall still got an impressive performance from Marcus Woodard, who scored 12 points along with 5 blocks. Jeremy Rodriguez was another key contributor, scoring 8 points along with 7 rebounds.

Pearsall's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for King, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-4.

Pearsall will be playing at home against Lytle at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Lytle's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last five games. King is on the road again on Thursday and play against San Diego at 11:30 a.m. on December 7th.
