After both having extra time off, the Tarkington Longhorns and the Hardin-Jefferson Hawks will shake off the cobwebs and take on one another at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Tarkington will be strutting in after a victory while Hardin-Jefferson will be coming in after a defeat.

Tarkington was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 18 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September.
Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when Hardin-Jefferson faced off against Hargrave on Friday. Hardin-Jefferson came up short against Hargrave, falling 3-0.
The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-17, 25-17.
Tarkington's win bumped their record up to 23-16. As for Hardin-Jefferson, their loss dropped their record down to 14-23.
Tarkington was able to grind out a solid victory over Hardin-Jefferson when the teams last played on October 1st, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Tarkington since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
