Softball Recap: Vance County Takes a Loss

Vance County fell victim to Carrboro and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Jaguars, falling 12-0. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Vance County's record is now 1-4. As for Carrboro, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season.

While Vance County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
