Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Danville walked away with it. They breezed past Long Trail to the tune of 71-31 on Friday. The Bears have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 matches by 25 points or more this season.

The win was the eighth in a row for Danville, bringing their record for this year to 22-5. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 38 points. As for Long Trail, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 13 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.

Danville will welcome Twinfield at 7:45 p.m. on Monday. Twinfield knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten contests -- so hopefully Danville likes a good challenge. Long Trail does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
