Volleyball Recap: Cuba/Spoon River Valley Victorious

After losing to Farmington the last time they met, Cuba/Spoon River Valley decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Wildcats walked away with a 2-0 win over the Farmers on Monday.

Cuba/Spoon River Valley never let Farmington on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-13.

Grace Yaste paced Cuba/Spoon River Valley's offense, picking up six kills. Yaste got some help from Harleigh Waughtel and her ten assists. Kacie White controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

The victory got Cuba/Spoon River Valley back to even at 1-1. As for Farmington, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
