Football Game Recap: Mystic Valley Regional vs. Brighton/Green Academy/Lyon Pilot

After having lost a blowout in their game last week, Mystic Valley Regional was happy to find some success on Friday. They were able to grind out a solid win over Brighton/Green Academy/Lyon Pilot on Friday, winning 16-6.

Mystic Valley Regional's victory brought them up to 3-5. Brighton/Green Academy/Lyon Pilot's defeat makes it seven in a row and drags their record down to 1-7.

The Eagles will take on Excel/Burke at 6 p.m. ET on Friday. Coming off of a win even when the odds were against them, Mystic Valley Regional has to be feeling especially confident with the MaxPreps rankings on their side for this one. Brighton/Green Academy/Lyon Pilot will have some time to rest before their next matchup, which is against Chelsea at 10 a.m. ET in four weeks. Coming off of a loss in a game they were expected to win, Brighton/Green Academy/Lyon Pilot now face the more daunting task of proving themselves against unfavorable odds.
