Volleyball Recap: Preston Comes Up Short

Preston was the 2-1 winner over Lewis County when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Knights fell 2-0 to the Minutemen on Thursday. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-10.

Preston's loss dropped their record down to 16-28-1. As for Lewis County, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-17-2 record this season.

After both having extra time off, Preston and Jefferson will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lewis County, they have already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Bridgeport on the 23rd.
