It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Silverdale Academy can now relate to. They fell 3-1 to the Lakeway Christian Academy Lions on Saturday. The Seahawks' loss signaled the end of their ten-game winning streak.

Silverdale Academy started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-18, 25-17, 25-22.

Camryn Neal paced Silverdale Academy's offense, picking up 15 kills. Neal got some help from Caroline Hilton and her 38 assists. Hilton was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Lakeway Christian Academy was led to victory by Darby Felts and Carley Cameron. Felts hit 61.5% for 32 kills and 12 digs, three aces, and one block, while Cameron had ten digs and seven assists. Felts has been hot for a while, having posted 11 or more kills the last 16 times she's played.

Silverdale Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 26-7. As for Lakeway Christian Academy, the win was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 22-2.

As of now, neither Silverdale Academy nor the Lions have any future games scheduled.
