After losing to Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory the last time they met, Valley Christian decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Warriors had just enough and edged out the Fightin' Irish 3-2 on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Valley Christian who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 17-25, 25-15, 22-25, 15-12.

Valley Christian's win bumped their record up to 18-14. As for Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 21-12.

Valley Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Archbishop Mitty on the 7th. Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
