The North Port Bobcats will take on the Manatee Hurricanes at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North Port is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.8 runs per game this season.

Last Thursday, North Port got the win against Lemon Bay by a conclusive 10-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bobcats.

Hailey Perez was incredible, going 2-for-5 with one home run and three RBI. That home run marked the first that she launched this season. Another player making a difference was Lauren Boff, who scored two runs while going 3-for-5.

Perez wasn't the only one making solid contact: North Port kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. The Bobcats are a perfect 6-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Meanwhile, Manatee lost 18-7 to Lemon Bay on Monday. The Hurricanes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jenna Caldwell was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while going 3-for-4. Baelee Garland was another key player, scoring a run while going 3-for-4.

Manatee's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for North Port, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.

North Port's speedy runners might be the difference in Tuesday's matchup. The Bobcats have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.6 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Manatee, though, as they've been averaging an even more impressive 1.4 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will North Port continue to outrun the ball?

North Port was able to grind out a solid win over Manatee in their previous matchup back in March, winning 9-4. Do the Bobcats have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Hurricanes turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
