Baseball Recap: Lincoln Park Takes a Loss

Lincoln Park had lost three straight on the road, but on Wednesday they dropped their record down to 7-28 to make it four. They fell just short of the Cabrini Monarchs by a score of 6-4. The Railsplitters were not able to make up for their defeat to the Monarchs from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

As for Cabrini, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-13. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games.

For Cabrini's part, their victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Andrew Ostrowski, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

As of now, neither Lincoln Park nor the Monarchs have any future games scheduled.
