Amire Fleming Dazzles in Tokay Victory

Starting off the list is Tokay's Amire Fleming, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Fleming rushed for 73 yards and two touchdowns. He didn't just play on offense: he also picked up a sack, forced a fumble, and made 11 total tackles (4.0 for loss).

A Season-Best Performance from Julius (Juju) Jackson Leads Mcnair over Stagg

On Friday, McNair got the W thanks in part to Julius (JuJu) Jackson playing the best football he has all season. Jackson wasn't messing around, picking up a sack and making 19 total tackles in addition to snagging an interception which he returned one-yard for a touchdown. The contest was his eighth straight with six or more total tackles dating back to last season.

The win (which was McNair's fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-2. Jackson and McNair will head out to square off against Chavez at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Vernon Hall Delivers Best Effort of Season

Chavez was led to victory by Vernon Hall, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Hall picked up 2.5 sacks, forced a fumble, and made seven total tackles (4.0 for loss).

For the year, Hall has averaged 5.2 total tackles per game and for the season has 7.5 sacks. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 2.5 total tackles per game.
