Basketball Recap: Manson Comes Up Short

Manson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 61-52 to the Moses Lake Christian Academy/Covenant Christian Lions, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Trojans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Manson's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Moses Lake Christian Academy/Covenant Christian, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Manson will venture away from home to square off against Tonasket at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Moses Lake Christian Academy/Covenant Christian, they are taking a road trip to face off against Soap Lake at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
