Maple Hill fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Duanesburg on Sunday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 53-51. Maple Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Duanesburg, their victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0.

Looking ahead, Maple Hill will challenge Germantown at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup will give the Wildcats their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Duanesburg, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Northville at 7:00 p.m.
