Basketball Recap: Pitkin Comes Up Short

If Pitkin was riding high fresh off their 75-37 takedown of Cedar Creek on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tigers fell just short of the Quitman Wolverines by a score of 60-57 on Friday. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wolverines apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.

The Tigers will be up against the Raiders' rather soft defense (which has allowed 54.09 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Quitman, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 74-23 win against Cedar Creek on the 6th.
