Football Recap: Headland Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Headland lost against Eufaula back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Rams took a 40-21 bruising from the Tigers. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jaylin Wright continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Eufaula, throwing for 290 yards and five touchdowns while completing 76.9% of his passes, and also rushing for 55 yards and one TD on only seven carries. A'Torian Slaughter was another key player, gaining 95 total yards and a touchdown.

Headland's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Eufaula, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Coming up, Headland will be playing at home against Greenville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Eufaula, they will head out to face off against Carroll at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
