Volleyball Recap: L.W. Higgins Comes Up Short

L.W. Higgins was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the A.J. Ellender Patriots. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hurricanes of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2023.

L.W. Higgins' loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for A.J. Ellender, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Looking ahead, L.W. Higgins will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against McDonogh 35 at 5:30 p.m. As for A.J. Ellender, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against East Jefferson on the 13th.
