Volleyball Recap: Seven Rivers Christian Makes It Eight in a Row on the Road

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Seven Rivers Christian had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Community Christian Chargers as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Warriors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Chargers, too.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-14, 25-19.

Leading Seven Rivers Christian to victory were Kloe Bonick and Isabella Bryant. Bonick had 22 digs and two aces, while Bryant had nine digs and four aces. That's the most aces Bryant has posted over her last seven matches.

They weren't the only good servers: Seven Rivers Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least ten aces in ten consecutive contests.

Seven Rivers Christian's victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-9. As for Community Christian, they moved to 23-5 with that loss, which also ended their six-match winning streak.

Looking ahead, Seven Rivers Christian will venture away from home to face off against Harvest Community at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Community Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
