O'Gorman has gone a perfect 10-0 against Mitchell recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Knights will challenge the Kernels at 6:30 p.m. O'Gorman will be strutting in after a victory while Mitchell will be coming in after a defeat.

On Tuesday, O'Gorman got the win against Huron by a conclusive 3-0. The win continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won three in a row.

O'Gorman walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-13, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Mitchell faced Brandon Valley in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Kernels took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lynx. The loss continues a trend for the Kernels in their meetings with the Lynx: they've now lost four in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 23-25, 25-13, 25-17.

O'Gorman will have to contain Kenna Soulek as she made an impact in Mitchell's last game. She had 13 digs and four assists.

O'Gorman's win bumped their record up to 22-4. As for Mitchell, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-7.

O'Gorman took their victory against Mitchell when the teams last played back in November of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
