Northland Christian won against St. Thomas Episcopal last Saturday with 62 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. The Northland Christian Cougars took down the First Baptist Christian Warriors 62-46. The win was familiar territory for the Cougars who have now won three games in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Northland Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kameron McKnight, who went 10 for 19 on his way to 21 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Andon Newton, who posted eight points along with 11 boards and five assists.

Northland Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in six consecutive matches.

When it comes to explaining why First Baptist Christian lost, don't look at Micah Shrum. Despite the final result, he had 13 points and seven rebounds.

Northland Christian's record is now 17-3. As for First Baptist Christian, their loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 8-3.

Northland Christian will host St. Thomas Episcopal at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for First Baptist Christian, they will head out to square off against Westbury Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
