Memphis Business Academy will bounce into Friday's contest after beating Douglass, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. Memphis Business Academy strolled past Douglass with points to spare on Wednesday, taking the game 78-63. Given the Execs' advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 113th, while the Red Devils are ranked 283rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Benson is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last 13 games he's played. Jaylon Hopson was another key player, dropping a double-double on 19 points and 13 rebounds.

Meanwhile, Lakeland Preparatory didn't have too much trouble with Trezevant on Wednesday as they won 67-48.

Memphis Business Academy has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 79.0 points per game. As for Lakeland Preparatory, their victory bumped their record up to 10-11.

Memphis Business Academy strolled past Lakeland Preparatory when the teams last played back in January by a score of 79-63. The rematch might be a little tougher for Memphis Business Academy since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
