Baseball Recap: Jackson-Olin Comes Up Short

Jackson-Olin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 11-4 to the Wenonah Dragons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Dragons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 24-5 last Thursday.

Malik Dowdell was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing Five bases. while getting on base in both of his plate appearances. Wylam Wright also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Jackson-Olin's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Wenonah, their victory ended an 11-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-6.

Jackson-Olin didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 20-5 win against Tarrant on the 6th. As for Wenonah, they have also already played their next game, a 12-6 victory against Fairfield on the 3rd.
