Halifax has won five straight games at home, while Tri-Valley has won five straight on the road dating back to last season, but those streaks won't matter much on Saturday. The Wildcats will host the Bulldogs at 11:00 a.m. Halifax is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.7 runs per game this season.

On Friday, Halifax was able to grind out a solid victory over Juniata, taking the game 6-3.

Halifax got a massive performance out of Will Steinhauer, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. What's more, Steinhauer posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Josh Zahurak, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one triple, and one run.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 14 runs the game before, Tri-Valley was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They came up short against Blue Mountain, falling 14-2. The matchup marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Tri-Valley fell to 6-1. As for Halifax, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.

Halifax skirted past Tri-Valley 6-5 in their previous meeting back in June of 2022. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
