Soccer Recap: Riverside Prep Comes Up Short

Riverside Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 4-0 to the Granite Hills Cougars. While losing is never fun, the Silver Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 401st, while the Cougars are ranked 85th).

Riverside Prep now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Granite Hills, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1-1.

Riverside Prep didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 6-2 win against Academy of Careers & Exploration on the 13th. As for Granite Hills, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 4-0 victory against Temecula Valley on the 13th.
