It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Freedom can now relate to. They came up short against the Alhambra Bulldogs on Wednesday, falling 12-1. The Falcons' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Yasmeen Sanchez was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one triple and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Ruby Cuen Camacho, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one RBI.

Freedom's loss dropped their record down to 11-10-1. As for Alhambra, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 16-10.

Freedom does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Alhambra, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-6 victory against San Leandro on the 31st.
