The Andrew Jackson Tigers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They took a serious blow against First Coast, falling 31-0. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Andrew Jackson in their matchups with First Coast: they've now lost eight in a row.
King-William Johnson threw for 101 yards on only eight passes. Anthony Jones was his top target, picking up 85 receiving yards.
Among those leading the charge was Auston Harris, who rushed for 92 yards and three touchdowns.
Andrew Jackson's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for First Coast, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Andrew Jackson will take on Raines at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Raines will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak alive. As for First Coast, they will head out on the road to face off against Edgewater at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Edgewater is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
