Basketball Recap: Glenvar Takes a Loss

Glenvar was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 29th straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the William Byrd Terriers and fell 53-22. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Highlanders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 43-25 two weeks ago.

Glenvar's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for William Byrd, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Glenvar will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Patrick County at 6:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025. As for William Byrd, they will finish 2024 at home by hosting Salem at 7:00 p.m. on December 27th.
