Basketball Recap: Dudley Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Dudley challenged Rockingham County on Monday. The Dudley Panthers took a 44-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rockingham County Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, with their most recent defeat being a 56-37 loss last Friday.

Dudley's defeat dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Rockingham County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 17 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 23-2 record this season.

As of now, neither Dudley nor Rockingham County have any future games scheduled.
