Volleyball Recap: Columbus Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Columbus Christian Academy lost against Winston Academy last Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The rams lost 3-0 to the Patriots. The rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-17, 25-17.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Winston Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ashlynne Arney, who had 11 assists and four aces. Those 11 assists gave Arney a new career-high.

Columbus Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Winston Academy, their record now sits at 11-4.

Coming up, Columbus Christian Academy will take on Smithville at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Winston Academy, they will welcome Regents at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
