Baseball Recap: Bridgeland Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Bridgeland can now relate to. They fell just short of the Klein Cain Hurricanes by a score of 4-2 on Thursday. The Bears were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hurricanes apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Bridgeland's defeat dropped their record down to 24-6-2. As for Klein Cain, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-7-3 record this season.

While Bridgeland had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
