Baseball Recap: Cohasset Find Success

Cohasset posted their closest win since April 19, 2024 on Wednesday. They won by a run and slipped past the Carver Crusaders 3-2. For the Skippers, this counts as revenge for the 8-6 victory the Crusaders walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.

Kevin Sweet made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off seven hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (five). He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Tucker Bliss, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, one double, and one RBI. Austin Soderberg was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-2.

Cohasset has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.
