Basketball Recap: Faith Christian Comes Up Short

Faith Christian lost against Asheboro Hybrid Academy back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Faith Christian Eagles took a 31-25 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Asheboro Hybrid Academy Warriors. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Emily West went supernova for Asheboro Hybrid Academy, putting up 19 points and six steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which West has scored at least a third of Asheboro Hybrid Academy's points. Another player making a difference was McKenna Voncannon, who posted nine points and six steals.

Faith Christian's loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Asheboro Hybrid Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 12-12 record this season.

As of now, neither Faith Christian nor Asheboro Hybrid Academy have any future games scheduled.
