Soccer Recap: Chisholm Trail Comes Up Short

Chisholm Trail was the 1-0 winner over Azle when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Chisholm Trail Rangers fell just short of the Azle Hornets by a score of 1-0 on Friday.

Chisholm Trail now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Azle, their win bumped their record up to 9-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chisholm Trail will take on Brewer at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Chisholm Trail's last four games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Azle, they will challenge Fossil Ridge at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Azle's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
