Baseball Recap: Bluejacket Comes Up Short

Bluejacket lost to Afton back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Chieftains took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. The Chieftains have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bluejacket's defeat dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Afton, the win got them back to even at 6-6.

Looking ahead, Bluejacket will be playing at home against Commerce at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Afton, they will challenge Welch at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Wildcats have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.64 runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of.
