Soccer Recap: Kelseyville Takes a Loss

Kelseyville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Cloverdale Eagles. The match was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Knights couldn't quite close it out.

Their goal came courtesy of Diego Rico, who's now up to four this season.

Kelseyville's loss dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Cloverdale, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-17.

Looking ahead, Kelseyville will challenge St. Vincent de Paul at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Cloverdale does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
