Volleyball Recap: Millry Beats Fruitdale for Their Third Straight Win

Millry entered their tilt with Fruitdale on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Pirates 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wildcats also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-21, 25-13.

LillyAnne Doggette paced Millry's offense, picking up nine kills. Doggette got some help from Claire Johnson and her 29 assists. Kenleigh Taylor controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Millry's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Fruitdale, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Millry didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against T.R. Miller on the 13th. Hopefully Fruitdale paid attention to the Wildcats' matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
