Soccer Recap: Medina Starts Season with Victory Against Albion

Medina took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Thursday. They never let the Albion Purple Eagles get on the board and left with a 3-0 win. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Medina hit Albion with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Aidan Papaj, Luke Duffina, and Aleks Seefeldt.

This is the second loss in a row for Albion and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Medina will face off against Buffalo Academy of Science at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Albion will be paying especially close attention to the Mustangs' match: after the Mustangs face off against Royalton-Hartland, they'll take on Albion again at 6:45 p.m. on October 2.
