Burleson is 10-0 against Seguin since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Burleson Elks will look to defend their home pitch against the Seguin Cougars at 7:00 p.m. Burleson is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.4 goals per game this season.

Burleson's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Mansfield Summit with a sharp 4-0 win. Considering the Elks have won four contests by more than three goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Mansfield Summit with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Annalynn Chavarria (2), Layden Huckins, and Morgan McAlpin.

Meanwhile, Seguin fell victim to Joshua and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They came up short against the Owls, falling 6-0. The Cougars haven't had much luck with the Owls recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.

Burleson's victory bumped their record up to 7-5-1. As for Seguin, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7-1.

Everything went Burleson's way against Seguin in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, as Burleson made off with a 9-0 win. Does Burleson have another victory up their sleeve, or will Seguin turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
