Euclides Alvarez turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than three walks surrendered on Tuesday. He tossed five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Considering he played a big game the last time he faced off against Palmetto back in February of 2024, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock. Alvarez also tossed a walk, which is notable because Southwest is undefeated when he allows at most one walk, but 4-5 otherwise.

Coming up, Alvarez and Southwest will host Coral Reef at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Southwest has been dominating at home and they will enter the contest having won four straight home games.
