Soccer Recap: Westminster Comes Up Short

After flying high against Kell last Wednesday, Westminster came back down to earth. The Westminster Wildcats came up short against the Buford Wolves on Friday, falling 5-1.

Westminster's goal came courtesy of Elena Garc?a, who's now up to two this season.

Westminster's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Buford, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Westminster will venture away from home to square off against Cambridge at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cambridge will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Westminster surely won't give up without a fight. As for Buford, they will take on Mill Creek at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
