Basketball Recap: Woodville-Tompkins Takes a Loss

Woodville-Tompkins was the 53-39 winner over Tattnall County when they last played one another back in November of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Woodville-Tompkins Wolverines were outmatched by the Tattnall County Warriors and fell 58-25. The contest marked the Wolverines' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Woodville-Tompkins' loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Tattnall County, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 11-2.

Woodville-Tompkins will challenge Savannah Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Savannah Christian will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Woodville-Tompkins surely won't give up without a fight. As for Tattnall County, they will take on Appling County at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Tattnall County knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six games -- so hopefully Appling County likes a good challenge.
