Baseball Game Preview: Campolindo Cougars vs. College Park Falcons

For the second straight game, Campolindo will face off against College Park. The Cougars will head out to face off against the Falcons at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Campolindo's pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so College Park's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Campolindo's usually-dominant pitching crew will be looking to make up for Tuesday's struggle, when College Park hitters got past them. The Cougars fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 10-9 on Tuesday. The Cougars have struggled against the Falcons recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

For College Park's part, Desmond Cobb and Connor Berkowitz did most of the damage at the plate: Cobb scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances, while Berkowitz scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Those three runs gave Cobb a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Riley Meadows, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.

College Park is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season. As for Campolindo, their loss dropped their record down to 8-5.
