Recap: South Fremont Cougars vs. American Falls Beavers
This season hasn't been kind to the South Fremont Cougars, who are still winless after their fourth match. They fell 49-38 to American Falls on Thursday. South Fremont has struggled against American Falls recently, as their game on Thursday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
South Fremont lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Skyler Forbush, who scored 11 points. Forbush scored a full 28.9% of South Fremont's points, the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryce Johnson, who scored nine points.
South Fremont bumped their record down to 0-4 with that loss, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. As for American Falls, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-1.
South Fremont will be home for the holidays to greet North Fremont at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for American Falls, they will head out on the road to face off against Aberdeen at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Idaho (Aberdeen is ranked 28th, while American Falls is ranked 50th).
