Volleyball Recap: Alamosa Takes a Loss

If Alamosa was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Mead on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Mean Moose fell 3-1 to the Eaton Reds on Saturday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mean Moose of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-21, 18-25, 25-17.

Eaton's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Hayden Logan led the charge by getting 14 digs and three assists. Those 14 digs gave Logan a new career-high. Trinity Salberg was another key player, getting 23 assists and five digs.

Alamosa's defeat dropped their record down to 3-1. As for Eaton, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Alamosa has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Niwot on the 30th. As for Eaton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Lutheran on the 30th.
