Volleyball Recap: Saturday's Win Is Rockwall's Third in Last Four Outings

After losing to Vandegrift the last time they met, Rockwall decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Yellowjackets walked away with a 2-0 win over the Vipers on Saturday.

Rockwall easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-17.

Their offense was headlined by Emily Ken and Ryan Anderson, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from Ainsley Edgington and her 19 assists. Audrey St. Clair controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Rockwall has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-13 record this season. As for Vandegrift, they dropped their record down to 11-16 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

Rockwall has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Hockaday on the 30th. As for Vandegrift, they will challenge Round Rock at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
