Mt. Vernon waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Bishop Hartley Hawks with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in March.
Mt. Vernon's got stronger as the match went on, holding Bishop Hartley to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-20, 25-13.
