Cumby waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They blew past Pioneer Tech & Arts Academy 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on September 5th.

Cumby walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-14, 25-20.

Cumby's win bumped their record up to 9-13. As for Pioneer Tech & Arts Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Cumby will square off against rival Wolfe City at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Pioneer Tech & Arts Academy is set to take on their familiar foe Pioneer Technology & Arts Academy at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
